*10 watts with SR-4 amplifier

*The SR-4 1-10 watt amplifier only amplifies the RF (radio frequency) frequencies output by the GB-4000.
It amplifies the output of the GB-4000 from 2 watts to about 10 watts depending on the frequency used.

In Audio Mode no RF carrier frequency is used. Also in Audio Mode the GB-4000 outputs 40 volts peak to
peak which is about 0.75 or 3/4 of a watt. The *F-125, F-165 and 175 claim to use a 10 watt 1 to 20,000
hertz audio amplifier. This amplifer only outputs 65 volts peak to peak voltage. Sixty five volts peak to peak
is not 10 watts but is about 1.5 watts. In a You-tube video the the Audio Mode voltages of both instrument
are compaired. The Blaster will have a higher Audio Mode voltage than the GB-4000 but they misread
the voltage of the GB-4000 at 18 volts. Their equipment could not read the true RMS peak to peak
voltage. Another fact they failed to mention is that 99% of the people who use the GB-4000 use it in RF
Mode. The peak to peak voltage of the GB-4000 in RF Mode is 110 volts peak to peak which is 45 volts
higher than the Blasters 65 volts peak to peak. Another thing they failed to mention is the Blasters 65
volt amplifier only goes up to 20 thousand hertz. The GB-4000 goes up to 40,000 hertz in Audio Mode at
40 volts. In RF Mode almost the full frequency range of the GB-4000 goes up to 110 volts. With the
SR-4 Amplifier it goes up to almost 10 watts or over 200 volts. The Blaster F-125, F165 and F-170 only have
a peak to peak voltage of 26 volts over almost the complete frequency range of their instruments.

The GB-4000 can be adjusted to output 65 volts in Audio Mode upon request when a wavier of all
responsibility is signed. We do not recommend this be done since there is a safety issue with using 65
volts in Audio Mode.

Why Power 0utput Is Important In A Frequency Generator

When comparing the various instruments, power output is a very important consideration. This is the reason the GB-4000 uses a carrier frequency so that more power can be output.

The power output of most frequency generators on the market today that do not use an RF carrier frequency is only about 0.20 of a watt.  The GB-4000 with the use of an RF carrier is about 2 watts and is over 9 times more powerful than these instruments.  With the use of the optional SR-4 amplifier it is over 50 times more powerful.

GB-4000 (up to 2 watts output).

SR-4 1-30 Megahertz Amplifier.
1-10 watts output.

Want more power than 2 watts? Then the SR-4 may be what you are looking for. It was developed for
those who want more power. It connects to the GB-4000 using a BNC cable and BNC connections. Like
the GB-4000 it outputs through wires and uses the contact method to deliver its frequencies. This method
has been used for many years and works very well.

If you are looking for even more power and want a non-contact broadcast method then the M.O.P.A.
60 watt average power amplifier is what you are looking for. Click on the M.O.P.A. tab and read more about
the M.O.P.A.

The Deluxe Travel Case

The deluxe travel case has wheels and an extendable handle like most fine luggage. It holds the GB-4000
and SR-4 amplifier along with all the accessories. The foam inserts protect the GB-4000 and SR-4 amplifier
better than any other case on the market. For those who want to protect their investment it is well worth
owning when you have to travel or if you just want to have a safe protective case to store your GB-4000
and SR-4 amplifier. Because of its size the deluxe case has to be sent Fed-X or UPS outside the U.S.
The price is $180.00 but check with your distributor for any possible promotions.

The Compact Travel Case

The compact travel case is a smaller case than the deluxe case. Because of its small compact size it can
be shipped to almost any country through the USPS. It is ideal for those who want to be able to carry their
GB-4000 and SR-4 amplifier when they fly. It easily fits into the overhead compartments on any airline. It is
rugged, light weight and will protect the GB4000 and SR-4 with ease. The price is $140.00 but check with
your distributor for any possible promotions.
